Clayton C. Chandler

Clayton Chandler focuses his practice in the areas of corporate transactions and business litigation. Mr. Chandler has represented a variety of businesses ranging from small, closely held businesses to commercial developers to large financial institutions. 

His experiences include:

  • mergers and acquisitions
  • complex breach of contract
  • fraud cases
  • debtor-creditor issues 
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Chandler worked for four years in the Equity Capital Markets Group at Morgan Keegan & Co. He graduated in 2001 from Washington and Lee University and University of Memphis School of Law with a J.D. in 2008. He was admitted to practice at Evans Petree in 2008 as well. He is a member of the the American and Memphis Bar Associations.

Clayton is married to Dallas native, Emily Litton Chandler. They have a young daughter, Eugenia.  The Chandlers are members at St. John's Episcopal Church and very active with the Mid-South Washington and Lee Alumni Chapter, for whose board Mr. Chandler is president-elect.  Outside the office, Clayton enjoys playing golf, reading history, and watching S.E.C. sports.
