Bill Hendricks knows and understands the complexities, tactics, and strategies of complex business litigation. He is well equipped to formulate effective legal strategies and to navigate his clients through complex legal proceedings, discovery, and trial. Mr. Hendricks formed a practice of defending insurance companies and individuals primarily in defense of numerous personal injury cases and ultimately joined Evans Petree as a shareholder.

Mr. Hendricks primarily focuses his practice on the following:

  • Commercial and business litigation matters involving insurance companies
  • Outdoor advertising companies, construction companies
  • Shareholder disputes and non-competition agreements
  • Defense of serious injury cases and wrongful death cases
  • Automobile rollover cases, 18-wheeler accidents, motorcycle and other vehicle collisions
Mr. Hendricks has represented his clients in all stages of litigation in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation. He has tried a multitude of jury and nonjury cases in many courts in state and has appeared before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Tennessee Court of Appeals. On numerous occasions sought relief from the U.S. Supreme Court where he has been admitted to practice for many years.

Mr. Hendricks's trial experience is reflected through his certification, by both the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a civil trial specialist. In addition, he has been recognized by his peers as a Mid-South Super Lawyer for many years and has received the highest possible rating available under the Martindale Hubble peer review system of ethics and legal ability. In addition to trial work, Mr. Hendricks has been certified pursuant to Rule 31 as a mediator and is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Memphis Bar Associations, as well as the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.
