Blue Acree is an attorney who focuses her practice on construction, civil litigation, estate planning, and business transactions. Blue has experience advising owners and contractors on a wide range of construction matters, including contract disputes, payment and performance bond claims, defective and nonconforming work, and other project-related litigation. Blue also assists her clients with a range of civil litigation and complex commercial litigation disputes, serving both plaintiffs and defendants in matters including contract and transaction disputes, landlord/tenant issues, Fair Housing claims, as well as other business and tort matters.
Blue has experience working on business transactions and assists her corporate clients in company formation and restructuring, drafting and reviewing contracts, and other transactions involving closely held businesses.
Blue also has experience assisting clients with their estate planning needs, including the drafting of wills and trusts, as well as assisting in the probate and estate administration process.
Blue is a 2025 graduate of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and received the CALI Excellence Award. She also served as a Notes Editor for Volume 55 of the University of Memphis Law Review.
