Attorneys from Evans Petree PC participated in sponsoring the Memphis Bar Association’s Saturday Legal Clinic at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
The Saturday Legal Clinic was first held at the First Baptist Church on Broad Street in 2007. It is a walk-in legal advice clinic that provides brief services in the form of only legal advice to persons who are eligible for assistance through Memphis Area Legal Services. In 2011, the Central Library agreed to become the primary venue for all the clinics. Since that time, over 10,000 individuals have been served. The clinic is held monthly on the second Saturday from 10am until noon.
